I use headac3he to edit music. the input format is ac3(15mb). The output can be wavac3(150mb), wav(50mb), or mp3(4mb). Is there a free software to convert these output back to ac3. Thanks alot.

I guess you are looking for a free tool? I haven't seen any free ac3 editor. I would instead output to wav and then use aften to convert to ac3.
If you have Nero(full version) try Nero Wave Editor that should be included.
