Hello, I recorded a TV show in high definition from my Sony-HDR FX1 high def camcorder in VCR mode. I then used Premiere to cut the commerials out, render it in High quality and burn through Encore. When I play the burnt DVD on my TV, the audio is great, but the video quality isn't HD. I know its because Im burning a DVD not a Blu-ray, but I expected the quality to be a much better, it looks like its a step above VCR quality.
The quality isn't what I thought it would be. Am I doing something wrong?

How many minutes video/DVD are you trying to squeeze in?
Are you using Dolby Digital audio or LPCM wav audio?
How does the rendered high quality look on your computer before you use encore?
