hi, converting a .flv file to .mov
well it was kinda complicated from the beginning and I fixed the progress.app problem as suggested in another thread
    but...
when I do (and I know this problem has been addressed before but in different context)
    this happens

Encoding started on Sun Mar 16 19:49:35 PDT 2008
FFmpeg version CVS, Copyright (c) 2000-2004 Fabrice Bellard
Mac OSX universal build for ffmpegX
    libavutil version: 49.0.0
    libavcodec version: 51.9.0
    libavformat version: 50.4.0
    [flv @ 0x4701fc]Unsupported audio codec (6)
    Seems that stream 1 comes from film source: 1000.00 (1000/1) -> 19.83 (119/6)
    Input #0, flv, from '/Users/dominickwong/Desktop/downloads/hello':
    Duration: 00:02:23.0, bitrate: N/A
    Stream #0.0: Audio: 0x0006, 22050 Hz, mono
    Stream #0.1, 19.83 fps(r): Video: flv, yuv420p, 320x240
Codec type mismatch for mapping #0.0 -> #0.0

    much thanks in advance

It is possible the streams are reversed. Try checking the "Invert mapping" checkbox in the Audio tab.

Rumplestiltskin has it right. Ffmpegx expects -- no, demands -- that the video stream precede the audio one. Click on "invert mapping" and that problem should go away. No guarantees that all will be well, of course, but at least you'll have one less thing to track down.

    Good luck!
