Hi I have a question on audio with vcd's. When I use smart ripper and the dvd has dts audio. I cant seem to create the AC3 T01 2_0ch 192Kbps 48KHz output that is needed for the audio that tmpeg needs to create the vcd. I'm using dvd2avi. Does anyone have any ideas? Dolby Digital works fine. I had a problem with Cast Away and Pearl Harbor.

the best audio track to use for vcd/svcd creation is dd 2.0. if not available then dd 3/2(5.1) + dolby surround downmix. unless dts is the only track available dont hassle with it

With smart ripper and dvd2avi should there be a chioce for dts or dd becuse I havent seen any out there. Does the dvd only have dts audio or is there an option for dd? thanks

check the stream processing tab in smartripper to identify the audio track (or select a track# + f5 in dvd2avi)
