Hello, I just wanted know what has better quality usually... a Laser Disc or DVD from the same movie, or is same quality but different media???.

DVD has a higher resolution than LD.
Now as towhat has better quality usually... a Laser Disc or DVD from the same movie
But usually the dvd is the better quality.

The LD I am talking about 1st was realeased as VHS then as LD and finally as DVD.. so would it be better quality???.

All movies started out on VHS, then LD then DVD, because all there was at one time was VHS, back in the day LOL!!
Usually it would be the dvd as most studios would have access to the original film/master so they would not have to source it from a lower quality source for the dvd release. -
"The Virgin Tour" from Madonna....
But the LD still looks no that good..looks with noise and rainbow letters... -
I would imagine Madonna or her label would have held on to the original master video and used that to make the dvd.
