  1. I just bought a Philips 3-input video switcher, so that I can connect my computer to my TV through the S-Video then through the RCA out put, but for some reason I can't get it to work. Is it capable of converting S-Video to RCA, or does the input have to match the output? As in S-Video in and S-Video out as well.
Here is the link for amazon:

Although I bought it at Wal-Mart.

Any help would be much appreciated.

This type of product is a simple passive switcher. Nothing is converted.
composite, Y, C, left and right are separately switched.

You can combine Y and C to composite with the adapter that came with your display card or use other S-Video to complosite adapters.
