playing cdfs video format with vista

hi all new here borrowed a dvd-rw from a friend it works on his machine ok it was burned with nero when i play it nothing happensin my computer it shows a full disk 4.7GB BUT NO video files my os is vista home basic i have tried to play it with cyberlink dvd suit divx move player and wmp nothing works any ideas /help greatly accepted thanks
