Yeah, so I'm left here with several PAL 720x576 and (I'm guessing) 25FPS, is there any way to convert these dvds to ntsc dvds keeping all the menus intact and extras, without losing any (or any noticeable amount) of quality?

Yes you can do it... easy/simple, no!

And you will always lose quality with a conversion but if starting out with high quality material and done correctly most will not notice any diff.

Easiest way would be to pick up a standalone player that will convert on the fly & play PAL dvd's in NTSC land.

In the guides section of this website (link at the left), there is a patch method which works on some peoples equipment. It involves ripping the DVD, patching with IFOedit and reburning the DVD.

It has worked for me on Zenith, SONY(made in Korea) and Lite-ON equipment. There are comments in the guide from users who have used it successfully and others who have not had success.

If it works for you, there may be no or little loss in quality. And it is EASY!

Read the guide, try the method, decide for yourself.
