    My DVD recorder splits vob files into 1gb segments, but the playback remains seamless. When I rejoin them with my editing software, the playback isn't seemless.

    How do I correct this?

    What editing software?

    You can use vobmerge to join the one 1gb vobs to one vob or use vob2mpg to create one mpg file.

    I use Womble's MPEG Video Wizard to edit vob files. But if I work with multiple files, it's not joining them seamlessly.

    Vobmerge worked perfectly. Now I can just rejoin the files prior to editing. Problem solved.
