  1. My computer monitor on my desktop, which I've never had a problem with, today I go to get online move to mouse to bring up the monitor, the monitor turns on for about 2 seconds then turns off and won't come back on. If I turn the moitor off and then back on it does the same thing.

Power cable plugged in tight at both ends? Video cable plugged in tight at both ends?

Outside of that, if it is outside of warranty, your in the market for a new monitor...

Try it on a different computer.

I could be corrupt power management settings or a screen saver gone berserk.

  5. Yeah it's plugged in tight on both ends. I don't have another computer to try it on. So I guess I'll just have to buy a new one. It is 4 years old now.
