    I use mac. How can I play avi video with sub file ? The subtitle is sub file, so it is hard to find way to show sub file. I tried VLC, but it didn't work

    You could convert the subs to .srt format and VLC should see them if they're in the same folder as the AVI. One Mac program for that: http://mac.softpedia.com/get/Video/Sub2Srt.shtml

    Did you try manually loading them?

    File => Open File => Checkmark use subtitles file (browse and open the main video file, and subtitle file)

    To open my files with subtitles I think VLC would be your best option. Does anyone know a program that can actually imbed the subtitles into the AVI file?
