Rip DVD menu audio

Hello everyone. I need to rip audio from a menu on a dvd. I was following this http://www.dvd-guides.com/content/view/136/59/ and was wondering if there are other ways of doing this as well? or will this do the job?

Well this guide doesn't seem to work, well I shouldn't say that...it does work but, while I can rip the audio from the DVD I cant seem to find the audio from the menus. Can anyone help?

Thank you for this. But which guide would you recommend because so far I am having a difficult time. What I have tried is ripping the entire DVD with DVD decrypter and I now have the vob of the menu I need. I tried converting that vob to a wav file using river past audio converter to grab all the audio that is with that menu but it only gives me like 20 sec and not the whole thing.

To demux menu audio with PGCDemux from a DVD on your HDD:
a)if you want it from top menu (VIDEO_TS.VOB), open VIDEO_TS.IFO file,
b)if that menu is in a VTS (e.g. VTS_01_0.VOB), open the corresponding VTS_01_0 file.
Select 'menu' domain in checkbox, select PGC for that menu page by its time duration. 'Demux all audio tracks' is on by default, uncheck unwanted subpicture streams etc., select output folder and process.

Thank you for the instructions Alex, It works! But.... The ac3 file it gives me, after I try to convert it, it skips a lot during playback, any reason what may cause this? I have tried using px3 also ac3tool

Try using SmartRipper to rip the AC3 from the DVD menu and then convert it to a WAV or MP3 file using HeadAC3. Both programs are free.
