On films in English where at certain points the actors talk in a foreign language and subs appear on the screen, I lose these subs when I back up the film:
eg. The Bourne Ultimatum - Extensive use of Russian durign the film.
The Kingdom - extensive use of Arabic, plus subs for location names.
Using either DVD Shrink or DVDFab I cannot get the backup copy when I rip just the main movie to retain these subtitles, whether I leave all of the subpicture tracks (for all Languages) intact or just the English sub picture tracks intact. Yet when I do a full rip of the movie plus all menus etc. everything is fine.
Basically can you tell me where this subpicture info is stored, because it clearly isn't part of the subpicture tracks for each language, but something different.
