I want to try to make S-VCDs from the films I have edited in Adobe Premiere 6. I have made a film that is 7,5 min long and is 150Mb in size. I think that is pretty much! The coding is MPEG4 C2 in Premiere. The picture quality is quite good but I think the filesize is too big. How can a 90 min+ DVDrip (divX) be so good and still dont take more space than 700MB? What coding(program) is used to produce them?

What is the best to do when outputting from Premiere when I am making a S-CVD??

Which coding should I use? Should I make a AVI (DivX/MPeg4) and then convert to MPEG2 with TMPG or similar?

I hope someone has a good answer on this

Thanks
