I am doing a project for a night class I am taking, and I was wondering if it is possible to capture a you tube video and use it in windows movie maker? I am trying to do a presentation and I think I will do it on DVD. Is this possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated..

    Peace

Capture and edit in Windows MovieMaker. Output to DV AVI (it is there as an option, but you have to dig for it). Once you have your finished DV AVI file, use FAVC to encode and author for DVD.

I converted the you tube video to avi using zamazr and I have the video in windows movie maker now. The original qualityof the video is not so great. I am thinking if I use this for a presentation after converting it to a DVD the quality will be a lot worse; it will also be on a large screen for a class presentation. Is this a real concern?

  4. Conversion to DVD format won't degrade the image any further.

However, can you use WMV format for your class presentation - i.e., will you be using an XP or Vista PC? If so, just create the WMV file directly from WMM.
