I'm trying to download the latest Super C here. Maybe I'm blind, but I've been up and down the site a few times and can't find the link. I usually get a message at the bottom of the page saying that there's higher than normal traffic. But sometimes I get "SUPER©.v2008.build.25(Feb.5,2008) FreeWare for Windows®", but no link. Just text. How can I get the software? I'd like to use it, but I can't find the link anywhere!
I've checked out the download helper and it says to enable my JavaScritp (done), clear my MSIE cache (done, but I'm using Firefox), do not block my http_referrer (don't know how--any advice?), and do not use a proxy (which, AFAIK, I'm not, but I don't know how to check).

VERY poor website design on the part of erightsoft. You shouldn't have to go through three pages and search so hard to find a download link.
I would also suggest you look at other encoders as well and see what suits your needs best.Donadagohvi (Cherokee for "Until we meet again") -
Check VideoHelp's Tools page for SUPER (that word should auto-link to the page). VideoHelp has a mirror of the installer you can download from that page, rather than try to stumble through eRightSoft's pages and worry about referrers. :/

Don't feel bad. Their site is not very user friendly at all. I hate having to dig through several pages on a site trying to get to what I am searching for. It is almost as if they do not want you to find the link and download their product. They really should redesign the site.
As others have mentioned finding a mirror site to download SUPER from is much easier. It is a great program once you get it and figure out how to use. Read some guides, they can be helpfull. Best of luck.
Cheers,

it's not a user friendly site but there's a good reason.
Super is 100% free. The whole purpose of the pages that are loaded is to make you aware of the company's other products which they hope you will find useful and buy.
If you circumvent this promotion, they could well remove super and everyone loses out then. -
I got there just fine with firefox in linux.

Just as an experiment, I tried going through the pages (Firefox/Windows) just now, and I did manage to make it to the download. If you're using NoScript (or anything like it), you may (I won't make any guarantees :/ ) have better luck if you (temporarily) 'allow' the following domains:
erightsoft.info
erightsoft.com
erightsoft.org
erightsoft.biz
free.fr
...though I'm not sure the last one is necessary. And there may be other erightsoft.* domains I may have missed... those were the ones I came across on the runs through the pages.
DB83: To be honest, I've only seen one shareware program on eRightSoft's pages - a program called '96CRYPT,' which has something to do with folder/directory encryption. The only ads I usually came across on the SUPER pages were usually offsite ads (and when I ran the experiment, they were even more annoying because they contained big "Download Now" buttons), rather than anything mentioning any other products or services from eRightSoft. So, I don't know about them trying to push their other products or services that way.

I use adblock plus, but i haven't found any way to add things to the white list
adding them to the block list easy is -
I've never really used the whitelist, so I couldn't tell you.
(Are exception rules the same thing as the whitelist?)
If you think AdBlock Plus might be preventing you from getting to the SUPER download, you can always try disabling it temporarily, by right-clicking on the AdBlock Plus icon and un-checking the "Enable Adblock Plus" option. (There's also usually at least two 'disable' options, such as "Disable on <current domain>" and "Disable on this page only", but you might find it easier just to deactivate ABP for the moment.)If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them? -
yes , exception rules, would be the same thing as a white list
sites that are approved , and NOT to be blocked -
Well, for exception rules, what I saw yesterday was that you can open the blockable items list, then right-click on one of the items in the list and select "Add exception rule for item...", modifying the new rule like you would a normal filter.

Thanks for the advice. I had to turn off the FF and use IE and got it fine (after a few refreshes).
-
I did fine by going to the indicated final (3rg page) download link and using "Down Them All" in FF. Installed fine afterwards.

Just use www.videohelp.com/tools/SUPER/old-versions#download and pick whatever version you prefer....
