    Hi there,

Every time I try to launch a job, I obtain this Applescript error:

    System:Applications:ffmpegX.app:Contents:Resources :Progress.app introuvable. (-43)

ffmpegx is working fine when I specify the soft to open a terminal window instead of Progress, but i cannot run any job performed by provided Tools (demux, join, etc.)

    I'm running X 10.4.11, ffmpegx 0.0.9y, registred and experimented user !

When you're asked to locate the progress.app, simply find and select the FFmpegX.app in your applications folder. That seemed to solve the problem for me.

    Good luck,
    PS

major, if you're reading this, this could be a clue why this happens with 0.0.9y.
    System:Applications:ffmpegX.app:Contents:Resources :Progress.app
    is not /Applications/ffmpegX.app/Contents/Resources/Progress.app
Can it be that it is looking in the /System folder and can't find Progress.app because of that?

  4. How is your harddisk named? Any special character? Is it named "System"?

Ah! Before I discovered this forum, I took a different, perhaps convoluted approach:
    • right-clicked on ffmpegX.app and opened its contents.
    • opened the Resources folder and located the Progress.app.
    • made an alias of Progress.app.
    • moved Progress.app.alias outside the app folder.
    • selected Progress.app.alias.
I'm not sure it's any better than the other steps but it worked.

Good job figuring that one out.
