Hello All..
Am Looking to add a JPEG File as the First FRame of a XVID Movie..
Am Doing so , just for the sake of having the Picture to be displayed while viewing as thumbnails in Windows..
Want a Simple Pocess..
Do Not want to Reecnode the Entrie Movie , Or Change the Quality or Settings even One Bit..
Was Looking to add LOGO on First Screen.. But had Problems Joining the newly saved clip..
(VirtualDub AVIDeMUX)
Also Could it be Possible to have a larger Thumbnail than the Wide Screen..
Suggest a Simple Way and also Other Opionion Regarding This..
Could Manage something with AVIDeMUX , But PLease give Expert Opinion as to What is Happening and What should be Done..
Thanks..
Open to All Your Suggestions..

One method to do this is use virtualdub or avidemux
Look here on how to make an AVI from a still, there are several methods, choose one that you like: https://forum.videohelp.com/topic346765.html
Now use the append function to join the two
The 2 avi's must be the same specifications, so you have to edit 1st "still AVI" to match the size of the big movie in terms of frame rate, size, etc... (use mediainfo to determine this)
You may have to "turn on" thumbnail view in explorer to see the 1st frame
run => regsvr32 shmedia.dll (but this has been known to cause instability on some systems)
Good luck
