am planning to build an HD HTPC which will also be used for gaming purpose
i download HD rips from torrent sites , so i guess i dont have to worry about HDCP issues since all of those HD dvd/ bluray rips will have the HDCP compliant checks removed (and encodes dont have it )..
so can i build a cheaper hd HTPC since i dont need to worry about HDCP certified hardware
ps: blurays/hd-dvd isnt available in my place and wont be available for some time , that is why am downloading it , otherwise i would have payed for it
