  1. i have an RCA DRC233N dvd player, it does not support divx/xvid movies so im assuming .avi's won't work either.

so my question is, what types of video files can i burn onto a dvd in order to play them on my dvd player. like is there a universal format that would work or something, cuz i need to add multiple videos to one dvd.

and i was wondering whether i would need to create a menu or would the videos be shown in the generic dvd player menu, or will they lik play all in order one by one having to forward to get to the next one

    thnx

about all you can play are dvds(upper left-what is dvd). you can use something like convertxtodvd to put mulitple avis onto one dvd, if you don't have the time to make separate mpeg2's and author them yourself to dvd. it can make basic menus. otherwise start reading the guides here on this site on how to convert stuff to dvd.
