How can I remove the video stream from an avi file and make another avi file with video only, no audio?

In VirtualDub: menu "Video" --> direct stream copy,
menu "Audio" --> no audio, menu "File" --> save as AVI.
AVI-Mux GUI can do the trick as well.

I don't see any Audio menu in VirtualDubMod even after opening the avi file. Why is that?
I couldn't figure out how to use AviDemux.
AviMux http://aubrun.jeanpierre.free.fr/avimux/avimux.html worked on a small test file, but demuxes only 39min of the 90 min avi file. Clueless.

 I'll try out Avi-Mux GUI
