Samsung DVD-1080P7 Region Hack

Hello All,

I have tried all the various hacks posted on this forum for my Samsung DVD-1080P7 (Region 1, Canada), and none of them have worked. I am never able to get to the point where it flashes the current region (R1) so I can change it to "9". My player is brand new and has firmware 071807.07.1080PHNXEXAA . I'm hoping someone else on here has found a current hack that works for R1 players with this (I presume) lastest firmware.

Do note that manufacturers change hardware all the time and as a result hacks that used to work no longer work. You may be out of luck here.

Just bought the dvd player samsung 1080p7 (region 1 usa) firmware 071807.07. the hack mentioned did not work....
Turn on the Player with no disc on the tray. The tv screen and the dvd lcd will display "No Disk" 2. Press the "Repeat" key on the Samsung remote control 3. Press the keys: "29334" on the remote. Number 2 appears on the screen for a short time. 4. Press "9". Number 9 is displayed on the screen. 5. Press the "Open/close" button in the remote. The tray will open. Leave it open for a few seconds. 6. Just press the "On/off" button in the remote. 7. You now have a multi-region dvd player!!
But I still can't make it code free!!!!!
I'm hoping someone else on here has found a current hack that works for R1 players !!!!

I have tried a few times to get this hack to work and haven't had any success. My firmware is 033107. Has anyone had success with a region 1 player?
