Can somebody point me to a good site with definitions for XP error codes?

I've searched repeatedly using Google, Jeeves, and Yahoo and found tons of sites/pages that talk about XP error codes, but none have any information on the error codes I have gotten...

In fact, most of the sites seem to have been copy/pasted from one another.

I even tried searching the actual error codes I have and got nothing.

Or, if you are a magical elf from Micro$oft and can read their language, my errors are as follows:

    Error code 10000050, parameter1 8b23b128, parameter2 00000000, parameter3 f7b725d0, parameter4 00000000.

    Error code 1000000a, parameter1 c1010490, parameter2 00000001, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 804e70d5.

    TIA!

    indeed. there are 2 files.
    Mini022308-01.dmp
    Mini022308-02.dmp

What program will open/read these files?
Even better, what will translate them into English for the non-computer geek?

I'm not familiar enough with minidump files to feel comfortable with that.
I have no idea what kind of data they contain...

I believe they log crashes, but I have no idea if there is any sort of identity info in there!

pretty bland stuff. open them with notepad and look through them yourself.
other than your cpu motherboard and drivers not much to see.

  8. The minidump file contains information that can recreate the state of the computer at the time of the crash. Appropriate software can then deduce what module caused the crash etc. Unfortunately, XP's default minidumps can't be deciphered in a simple text editor. You have to use something like the Windows Debugger (windbg - 'win debug' or 'wind bag').

As far as the error codes themselves are concerned, the first is the STOP CODE. Knowing they are called stop codes is the key to a successful Google. Here's a couple of sites the list stop codes.

    http://myitkb.net/index.php/windows-stop-error-codes/
    http://www.updatexp.com/stop-messages.html

Your codes begin with a 1. Ignore that and use the last 2 or 3 characters.

The four parameters contain information pertinent to the stop code.

The dump file contains no sensitive information.

    aha. thanks guys.
I have shut the HTPC down for the day, but I'll upload the minidump files tomorrow. Hopefully.
I just learned that my grandmother passed away this morning so I might be a bit busy for unimportant PC (toy) crap for a while...
