If you run a burner program like ImgBurn, it will tell you the capabilities of the burner. Click 'Discovery>Tools>Drive>Capabilities. This is for my laptop burner drive:

If you ever find a burner that supports CD+R, I'll give you $100!

First off, there is no such thing as + for CD'r,
+ & - only apply to DVD'r media and i don't think anyone has made a dvd burner specific to either format for years ?? as in more than 3-4 years.... but i guess there could be some rogue company out there that made some piece of crap that was dvdr format specific ??

An easier way to find out what format your "burner" support's would be to actually state the type of burner you are referring to.

No chronic here. Drug free and tested. I have my 'I pissed and passed' tee shirt.

But some members refer to all burners as CD, so I ignored that part.
