I am going to reauthor a DVD for a friend. It is a 3 minute product presentation. It will have no menu and needs to loop and replay over and over. Is this looping function something that is set in the player or is it an attribute that needs to be set when the disc is authored?

    Set on the disc.

What program? Some have a specific "loop" function, others require a pretty basic trick involving the playlist. I have to make these often, for kiosks and demo displays.

In DVD-lab Pro, all you need is link the movie to itself.

Thanks. That is what this disc will be used for - a kiosk. I use DVD Lab Pro. I'll take a look at it this evening. I seem to remember this function but I have never needed to use it before.

I found this guide which uses PgcEdit. I've not used it, so I don't know how accurate it is. http://www.tarnsyke.com/Geoff/Guides/Looping_Video.pdf

I assume that you mean in the Navigation view to just drag a line from the VTS output back around to the input?

  7. Ulead DVD Factory has an option "auto repeat when playback end", and remember to check off "create menu". It's cheap when you buy "old" or "used" version

As I said, simply connect the title to itself:
