Please help
I am converting divx film to vcd. I always use virtudub to extract the sound to 44100 and then use TMPGEnc I load the correct template for the frame rate. The problem is when I watch the film back the movie always starts ok then during the movie the sound goes out of sync and then corrects itself it does this say 3 times during the average movie. Then on other occasions the movie will run for 20min ok the go out of sync. Please help as i have tried everthing and would be greatfull with a response.
Ps I am not spliting the movie.

dont extract the audio.. I converted numerous divxs to vcds and have no sound issues.. raise your direct x settings in tmpgenc until it will open and use the audio in the divx
good luck! -
Thanks jasond for replying to my message one question where is the directx setting in tmpgenc looked under enviormental settings but can't see it could u help.
Thanks derek -
Sure.. Im at work and dont have it here..but under enviro go to vfapi then raise the direct show to +1 (anything higher causes playback probs with existing files)
I will reply with more details tonight if you still need help
