    Read through this thread to see all the connection modes for my laptop (NVidia 6100GO chipset).

    Yours will be different but the setting process will be similar.

    Most important: The TV must be connected and on when you reboot the computer. That is the only way to get NVidia to detect the TV and open the TV settings.

    If you connect it DVI-HDMI, it will offer HDMI settings
    If you connect it VGA, it will offer VGA resolution settings

    And don't forget to follow Samsung's detailed instructions to get the TV to display from the correct input.

    Thanks a lot. I changed the resolution to 1920*1080 and now i have a signal to my HDTV, and I see the photo of my destop but no icons or fuul desktop configuration. I do not know now where to go to change the setting of TV, like cable type, TV color system etc. I know is at Nvidia panel but I am not find exactly where. Pleaese help me. Thankssss

    Thanks very much. Now I have the video from my PC to HDTV, but the audio is missing. So, on my TV there is the pichture but no sound. Any thing wrong? Thanks again

  5. DVI doesn't carry audio. You have to run audio separately. You'll probably need a cable like this:
