    hey guys
    sorry again for my ignorance
    anyone know how to lower the framerate video from 50 fps to 30 fps?
    im using virtual dub with xvid codec compression.
    pls explain again in specific or with scan the better.tnx a lot

  2. The easist way is to use VirtualDub's frame rate conversion. Video -> Frame Rate. In the Frame Rate Convesion box check "Convert to fps [30]". Then save as AVI as usual. The results won't be perfectly smooth though.

    In this example, you do not convert.

    What you are seeing is a 25 frame per second PAL video and interlaced fields - 2 fields at 25 fps = 50 fps.

    You need to do a full PAL to NTSC conversion and not just the frame rate
