    I am trying to convert my first transport stream (8GB HD capture - 1.0 hour in length) to dvd mpeg/vob. I captured the .ts file with CAPDVHS. I tested the TS file using VLC player and it worked flawlessly with full 5.1 surround sound. I fired up HDTV2DVD and added the TS file no problem and clicked the preview of the file. The audio/video was choppy but I assumed this preview is not meant to be perfect. After a couple of hours of processing, windows gives me a low virtual memory warning and ffmpeg crashes due to this. Everytime I tried ,this happens at about the 15 minute mark. THe first HDTV2DVD log file indicated lots of errors, so I ran the file through MPEG2Repair and tried to process the resulting file. Still numerous problems showing up in the log file. I should email the files to you for assistance rather than posting here due to their length! Thanks for any help....

    Virtual memory problems are usually associated with available hard drive space. Do you have enough free space available? I usually figure at least three times the size of the video.

    And welcome to our forums.

    Freed up 25 GB. Tried again, failed. Changed page file size to 4GB manual. I had a Dr. Watson issue (dwwin.exe) and found some help online that recommended disabling error reporting and ensure all windows updates are installed. I did both and it did make it pass the 23.9% mark, but still did not complete. Looks like it made it to just below 50% this time (unattended, overnight). Might try again and monitor it to see any error that pops up.

    My suggestion is to use the DEMO of SVCD2DVD to see if you still get the issue. They use different versions of ffmpeg.
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.
