    I am about to learn a new tool/language - Delphi, do you guys have any reference links or books that you think it's good for the newbie?

    I also want to know the tool I should use? Kylix? or other GUI tool.

    While I haven't used it I know borland makes a delphi IDE. I currently use borland's c++ builder and it is very good.

    Look for the Sam's Learn Delphi in 21 days books for a good starting place.
    http://www.codeguru.com/ is also another good starting place.
