Hi,
I know my standalone player does not play SVCD's but will apparantly play XVCD's at a bitrate of 1150Kbits. Therefore I want to try the 'Nero Trick' to see if my standalone will play them.
I have downloaded a sample of a SVCD, and it plays fine in PowerDVD, but has a bitrate of 2520Kbits and when I change the bitrate to 1150Kbits using TMPGEnc, the newly encoded file 'shakes' when being played. I cannot test it on my standalone as I have to purchase a new burner ASAP.
I was wondering if anyone knew why the newly encoded file is 'shaking', and if possible inform me of the best settings to use in TMPGEnc.
Many Thanks
