sorry...
after i compiled my video (MPV file and AC3 file) with DLP i played it with PowerDVD and the movie was played funny...
to be exact - the movie was played in FF (fast forward) mode...
now,
i know that PowerDVD does have a feature where i can play the movie with different speeds (x1, x1.5, x4...)
though i know how to activate this feature and when its on/off - i thought maybe something wrong with it,
so i tried to play it with VLC Player (one of the VOB's) and the video was running great - only the audio wasn't;
it was jumping and it was all broken and interrupted...
now i dont know whether if its the PowerDVD's fault or VLC's, or maybe DLP?
thank you for your help,
and again - sorry for the poor language...
edit...
i'll also try to burn it to DVD-R and play it on my DVD Player, to see how it goes... -
In the past, I've had a couple of issues with AC3 sound as well. I worked and worked on this particular file when, all the time, it was the AC3 file itself that was corrupt. Once I went back and did the conversion process again, all was fine. I still don't know what caused it - probably a little glitch in the conversion program on that specific day.
So, guns1inger is correct to suggest AC3Fix. I'm not sure it would have helped on my file or not, but it wouldn't have hurt.
Try listening to your audio file for about 5-7 minutes in two or three places and look for odd pops, clicks, hisses and the like. If you hear anything like that, delete the file and reconvert. Then, try it again. -
guns1inger,
O.K....
i found the problem...
the AC3 File was corrupt...
i encoded it myself and i guess i didnt do it right...
thanks all for the great help!!!
