Hi, can someone tell me if the firewire input port of this cam, is a "small" firewire-plug or the bigger "standard" plug?

The input on the cam is the mini firewire. the cable itself, is mini to full.

It's mini - aka 4 pin firewire.

It is 4 pin FireWire A.K.A. iLink, (Sony Developed it)
Does not provide bus power which is a good design to avoid burning the PCB on your camcorder.
