    Hi every body i really nned your help i ve received somme VCR tapes from Europe (backhome) and can't play them i got an LG LVC 837 and i was told that i can find help here so pleaseeeeeeeee if anyone can help i will be thankful.

    A hack would only work with the DVD player side of things anyway, not the VHS. As a US spec machine you player will only play NTSC recorded tapes. Europe uses PAL so you will need a different, dual-standard machine to play them on.

    Not going to happen.
    Your VHS tapes you received are PAL format....Canada uses NTSC format.
    You cannot "hack" a VCR.
