Heres the situation, i have captured a VHS video on my CANOPUS ADVC100, then i used TMPGNc to convert it, So i know have a MPEG VIDEO file and a AUDIO WAV FILE, which goes great into TMPGnc DVD AUTHOR, BUT the audio has pulsing noise in it which sounds like its been picked up from the VHS player i used (its a 2.5 hour vid and it took hours to convert it so i dont really want to do it again). So i have used a program called Accoustica spin it again, which has eradicated the unwanted buzz. i did this by running the AUDIO TRACK thorugh it saving it with the same filename. Then i swap the noisy audio track for the cleaned track. AND HERE IS THE PROBLEM, when the MPEG video file is played there is NO audio track. Wether using DVD AUTHOR or in WMP. Surely if the cleaned audio file has the same name as the original dirty file. all should be ok.............whats gone wrong

To add to the above i have tried MULTIPLEXING the video and the clean audio, then putting the output into DVD AUTHOR, but it wont accept the audio
