  1. You can use Enosoft DV Processor to convert raw DV to DV AVI.

    I don't know if it's the source of your problem, but Quicktime Player really sucks under Windows.

    If you choose the PC route with our software, here is a configuration file for it that will make the process easier:

    video8correction.dvpconfig

    Open the software and drag this file onto it or use the software's Load... button.

    This will configure the software to adjust the brightness and color.

    All you need to do is select one of your captured .dv files as input, choose a name for Raw DV File... output (or AVI if you need it) then click the Run button.
