Hi there. I'm not sure if this is the right forum to ask this but I'd like to know if there's any easy, hassle-free way to create animated wallpapers from my library of videos in various formats e.g. avi, wmv, mpeg etc.?
I'm using Windows XP Home Edition SP2.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

And it may use up a fair bit of CPU power to run that in the background and still be able to use your computer for other processes.

 And welcome to our forums.

there is a free program call 'screen swift' it will take swf files and create an exe installer version screen saver

you then install the screen saver like you would anyother screen savior, even give it away to friends or post it on a fie share site

like was said animated wallpaper that is there and running while you use your normal desktop, takes a lot of CPU power

I tried some, went back to static wallpaper and animated screen saviers
