HI!
Recently had to replace my beloved Mac with a PC running Vista. Now when I burn a disc with srt subs for my Magnivox stand alone player the player can't see the subs. Just ignores them. Maybe it hates Vista as much as I do.
I have tried everything I can think of. Made the disc ISO9660. Subs and AVI file named the same. In fact I have tried every setting in Nero, Roxio and ImgBurn. I even checked that the subs were ANSI. Still nothing!
Help!!!!
I suspect that Vista is doing something to the sub file and, even though it says in Notepad that it is ANSI it really isn't.
Tony

Are you sure that it's not your magnavox ? Does old burned cds with subs work?
Have you turned on so you see the file extensions in vista so you know that it's named file.avi and file.srt? -
Files are SRT and AVI.
However, when I checked the DIVX subtitles were turned off in the set-uo menu. Good call, thanx!
