    Hello folks,
I'm new to OS X (old school Windows person here) and I'm having difficulty installing ffmpegx. The three binaries that need installing are the problem.
This isn't an "admin" issue, as I do have admin authority. After locating the binaries, for some reason I keep getting the "enter password" error, and, well, I don't have one. I just hit enter to do any admin stuff and it always works (except in this case, obviously).
So, I then tried to install them into Library/Application Support/ but there's no folder for ffmpegx. Have I done something wrong in the install process?
Apologies, again, for asking such a n00b question...
    I'd appreciate any help.
    Jamie

    The installer requires a password.
Open System Preferences > System > Accounts and set a password.

You may change it back after the installation, if you must.
