    every once in a while when playing a movie it freezes and becomes unresponsive when it freezes i cant even turn it off so i have to un plug it todaY it happened twice anyone know why?

    you may wanna post your problem at the AVS Forums. i've read that the SONY BLU-RAY players have some known issues with freezing.

    yes i have the new firmware update before i installed it i dont remember it ever freezing
