I made a vcd and i'm having problems. I can make a vcd with just one long chapter just fine, but when i set up chapters on TSCV, i start having problems. Everything starts off fine. I can go from chapter to chapter on my Pioneer DV-525, but when i leave it for about 15 seconds on a chapter, the screen goes black and it becomes completely retarded but i can still hear sound. After that it won't switch to any other chapters or back to the main menu. Also, the chapters starts were fine at first but after the retardedness, they're messed up. I can hear the chapters starting at the wrong places. I have the vcd encoded in PAL and i think that might be the problem, but i'd appreciate some help.

Yup, i've had that problem too, it's a badly encoded MPG file, it usually happened to me on my SxVCD, and then i changed the encoding in both the Video and Advanced to Non-Interlaced, and that fixed the problem.
If you are using VideoCD standard, try to first make sure both are on Interlaced, and if that doesn't help, make sure both on Non-Interlaced.Email me for faster replies!
