Is there any software to join 2 avi movie (700mb each) to make one big 1.4gb avi movie? thank you

I like AVIDemux. Virtualdub can also do it, if the settings for both are identical. AVIDemux is a bit more flexible when it comes to VBR MP3 audio or AC3.
With AVIDemux, keep both video and audio set to Copy. For Virtualdub, use Direct Stream Copy under the Video and Audio menus.Read my blog here.
