Which is the better DVD player?
I play DVD-R, divx, other region disks, everything.
I can get both for the same price, but which is the better one?
For non-hdtv tv.

The 5140 is more versatile, and does a better job with PAL to NTSC. The only bad thing about it is the way srt subs are displayed (kind of a light greyish color on my tv and pretty small), I've had to work around that by using srt2bmp. The old 642s were great, but I've heard people have more trouble with the newer ones.
