  1. Latelly some of the avi files with AC3 sound don't play correctly on my HTPC,
namelly one of the channels dissapears, i.e. when there was a club scene in a movie
I could hear all the dialogues but there was no background music, everybody was dancing
    without music.... kind of weird.
I tried to set the AC3Filter to mono-Stereo-2.1, 3.1, 5.1and so on there was no way to get it to work.
The file plays good (not Dolby Digital tough) in VLC with Audio Device set to 2Front 2 Rear.

I use Zoom Player for playback and AC3Filter for sound rendering
    via optical SPDIF.

    Please relpy

    Upgraded to latest ac3filter?
And you could also test use ffdshow and set AC3 and DTS to SPDIF.

  3. Got the latest and set the SPDIF.
The only file not working are the 5.2 DD.
