Hey! I recently purchased a gamebridge: http://www.amazon.co.uk/2179900-Adaptec-GameBridge-AVC-1400/dp/B000DLBAFU and I'm having trouble recording in PAL60, I can get a picture (not like others) in Virtualdub, but the quality is screwed.
I'm being told that the gamebridge wont work in PAL60 but I don't want to blow all my money on the "Dazzle Platinum".
Heres what the pictures like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xVZz38jen1c
the quality was better before I uploaded it.

Good old PAL60! Well, no, it's not really, is it? It would be if it wasn't such a bugger to capture.

I've been through hell and back trying to get my PC to capture PAL60, properly. And I must agree with the above post, you shouldn't have bought a Gamebridge. There are capture cards that are much better out there for the same price.

I stumbled across some information that suggested this capture card, which is £25, can record PAL60:

    http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/pages/products/data_express.html

I bought it last week, and I can confirm, it does capture PAL60 - perfectly! Although, you have to use Dscaler to do all the capturing. For some reason I couldn't get it to work in VirtualDub, which is annoying, but hey, can't have everything!

I captured PAL60 in AVI (HuffYuv) format, in 640x480 resolution.

Also, to allow you to play on the tv while recordin, and also bypass the lag, I use this SCART lead:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/XBOX%C2%AE-360-to-SCART-CABLE/dp/B000V95LEA/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8...2994560&sr=8-7

You can play on the TV through the SCART, and record through the AV block with composites.
