    There's saying on CNN that its bitter cold in the US. What are they talking about? Last week it was below zero. Today its 50 degrees.

    I'm freezing just thinking about that temp!!!!.

    The coldest I've ever experienced was -5c and I thought I was going to die!.

    And the ironic thing... We'll get hotter in the summer than you will (or at least as hot as)...

    Good thing here is these cold spells never last more than a couple of days - further into the prairies and they'll last months.

    45+ tuesday, all the snow gone.... actually took my road bike out 8)
    Then wensday
    Driving through wyoming on 28th st., stopped for gas and about froze to death, could not see $h!t from all the snow and high wind, 8f at 12 noon.....
    All that crap coming off the lake, which i'm closer to than you, thank god i don't live out by holland, it was sucking big time out there :P

    Can't say we get temps like the ones posted above, coldest it gets around here is down around 0F and it might stay there for 3 or 4 days days 3 or 4 times times each year. According to the conversion thats about -18C . You get used to it and you have to dress properly, personally it never bothered me except for maybe my hands and feet and not doing anything. Me and buddies used to go out camping in weather like that just because we could.
