I have amplified the audio in a DivX file with Audition.
But it saved the file as a PCM. This will now not play in my DivX player
Can someone run me through changing the audio to an MP3 file.
    Thanks

Can't you export to mp3 in adobe audition? I guess it's under File > Export > Audio Mix Down and under file format or similar.

I though that MP3 was a native format for Audition (at least it is on my version).

The proceedure should be FILE > SAVE AS > .MP3.
    ICBM target coordinates:

Sorry but I just can't get this.
Perhaps if I give more details.
I had a Divx file but the sound was too low.
I imported into Audition, raise the volume and saved the file.
But it saved the audio as a PCM file. So the file won't play on my standalone player.
Try as I may I can't get the bugger to save as an Mpeg.
Can someone run me through this please.
    Thanks
