Hello, I have downloaded a divx movie and about 35 minutes into the movie it gets outta synch. I tried converting the divx to vcd by decompressing the audio and adding the wav to the video. Still out of synch...Any idea on this one guys? I am almost certain this happened during the original rip of the movie and was wondering if all is lost or if it can be fixed...Thanx for your time

if your audio gets progresivley more and more out of sync as the video plays then you will need to use Virtual Dub to make a WAV of the audio then you can edit the audio and re-encode it back into the avi file.
this describes how to do it with an mpg...

basically just substitute TMPGEnc with VirtualDub and you have a guide for avi.peace out,
