  1. I've tried Ulead DVD factory - simple enough, but it's got problems.. for large files, it will only display the first 15-20 minutes of the file. You have to split it to recognize the whole movie. Also, I had a perfectly synced file before I used it to burn to a disc and then it went out of sync.

I've been using MyDVD that came w/ my Pioneer A03, but it's got some issues, too. I drop a 3.5 gig file in it and it'll say it's 4.5 gigs and gets an error burning because there's not enough space on the disc. I re-encode so that it's below 3 gigs and this last time around, it burned a disc that had vibrating motion every time there was movement on the screen. It was an epileptic's nightmare. The mpg file that was created runs fine, so I know it can't be how I encoded it.. perhaps what MyDVD is doing to it when it demuxes and muxes and transcodes...

Anyway, does anyone have a suggestion on a simple program where I can just drop the DVD-compliant MPG file into and just burn?

    Thanks,

spruceup is my favorite...a demo is out but it is no longer sold. it is just to add the mpeg, then drag it to the first play if dont want any menus or such and just burn.

or else maybe dvdit se(demo out also) but it converts all audio to pcm...but it is kinda easy app but very buggy though.

  3. Thanks for the suggestion - I found a copy of Spruce Up DVD-Maestro, but it looked kind of confusing. I didn't see a way to open up any kind of MPG files... I think it just gave me an option to save a project file. Do I just drag the file from an Explorer type program? If only TMPeg could burn VCD/DVDs...

  4. I don't know if it's an "oops" or not, but if you go to sonic's website you can upgrade to DVDit PE using your serial that came with your software from the A03

Remember when the only way to see a movie uncut was to go to the theatre?
