    I have downloaded and installed the VFapi plugin thing for TMPGEnc and no im not retarded lol, but one thing I want to know is, how can I open the MPG (which is an SVCD format) in TMPGEnc, it sais it is not valid for soem reason...

    Did you download and install the Mpeg2 codec (in the Tools Section to the left of this screen)?

    I've got the same problem, and I've installed the codec from the download page.

    I'm currently running version 12i

    PLEASE POST IN CORRECT FORUM! Moving this one to conversion.

    I have also problem opening mpg2 directly from the svcd disc but if you copy the mpg to the hd it often works
    or else just use this method for svcd www.vcdhelp.com/mpeg2tovcd.htm because it can open the svcd directly from the disc.
